Discipleship – The Church’s Challenge: Discipleship is one of the greatest challenges facing us as a church today. Jesus’ commission to “make disciples” is one which we need to take seriously. He calls us to be fully committed followers who learn to live and walk with Him in every area of life. Our spiritual growth is crucial to our spiritual health as individuals and as a church. This seminar will focus on what it means to be a disciple today where our spirituality is challenged by a world where religion and faith are confused by the absence of biblical truth and spiritual disciplines without biblical boundaries. Our lifestyles and values often reflect the world around us more than the experience with Jesus as Savior and Lord. | Born in Caracas, Venezuela, of missionary parents, Ben Maxson has spent much of his pastoral ministry in the Northwest and Southern United States.
