Those who don’t learn from history are bound to repeat it. In 1892 Ellen White wrote: “We have nothing to fear for the future, except as we shall forget the way the Lord has led us, and His teaching in our past history.” In this four-part seminar, we shall consider four locations and the events associated with them in our church’s early history. They are: Otsego, MI; Hydesville, NY; Lovetts Grove, OH; and Minneapolis, MN. The counsel we have been given from them has much to teach us, both in the present and in the future. Topics cover health, spiritualism, the great controversy, and Christ our Righteousness. | Allan Lindsay comes from Australia, where he lectured for 30 years at Avondale College.
